We are a lifetime care sanctuary for blind, FIV & Leukemia positive cats located in St. Pauls, North Carolina (USA). In 2005, we built our first building as a safe place for blind cats who were deemed not adoptable by regular shelters and were going to be euthanized because they were blind. In 2011, we built a second shelter to provide a safe place for Leukemia positive (FELV+) and Feline. When I was back in high school I had 2 pups from guiding eyes for the blind in Yorktown heights New York. One black lab and one yellow lab they both pass with flying colors. I would love to take one of the pups that didn’t make it. We had a lab up until 3 years ago as she passed away. Labs are the best dogs. We would even take a Shepard. Ben runs blind retrieves over 300 yards and is very stylish and willing to please. Great looking once in a lifetime dog able to handle large hunting parties solo! “Red” – Red is a 1.5 yr old yellow female. She is obedient, steady, runs double and triple marks.
